Whitewater Rafting in Jinja

Whitewater Rafting in Jinja

-Bujagali Falls (named after an African spirit Bujagali said to occasionally float on a piece of bark down the river)
-Nile River
-Mile Zero (two small islands separate the Nile and Lake Victoria)
-Mahatma Gandhi’s Monument (where the ashes of the “great soul” Papa Gandhi were immersed in the Nile River)

1 Day Whitewater Rafting Trip
What we’ll be doing today: Leave hotel in Kampala at 7am for Jinja. Time permitting, visit the Source of the Nile. Go straight to Bujagali Falls, if we arrive before 11am, view the acrobatic water rafters ass they pass Itanda Falls. Raft for a half or full day on the Nile. Though you will have life jackets, be prepared for a tough, arduous, vigilant day at the falls of the Nile! Enjoy lunch on the mainland or on one of the many islands. Drive back to Kampala in the evening.
